Yarileen Pena
Yarileen Peña is an enterprise people and operations strategic leader with experience leading workforce strategy, operational execution, and organizational systems that support performance, stability, and long-term growth. She currently serves as a General Manager for Talent Acquisition at Delta Air Lines, where she leads large-scale hiring strategy and execution supporting over 40,000 of employees across the Airport Operations organization.
Throughout her career, Yarileen has led work spanning workforce planning, governance, compliance, and process modernization, helping organizations align people, structure, and execution to deliver consistent outcomes. She has been recognized for disciplined execution, people-first leadership, and her ability to translate complex strategy into practical, scalable solutions.
Yarileen has supported enterprise workforce efforts during periods of growth and transformation, contributing to organizational readiness, service reliability, and employee confidence. She is known for maintaining accountability, clarity, and sustainability while centering the employee experience.
As a board member of the Ralph W. Turner Foundation, Yarileen brings strategic insight, operational rigor, and a deep commitment to community impact. She is personally motivated by the Foundation’s mission to expand access to education and opportunity, and believes intentional leadership and strong systems can help remove barriers and create lasting pathways for future generations.
